Enough is Enough! I really didn’t want to post about SNOW as by now we are all about sick of it. I did however want to share a website with you if you did not see it or hear of it yet. Foot’s Forecast has been truly accurate all winter long. Their website is www.footsforecast.org and it is updated several times a day. They are calling for 6+ inches by lunchtime on Tuesday of the coming week.
At this point I ask, what is six inches considering what we have had? I’ll tell you why six inches is more dangerous than a full out foot or more. Drivers on the roads will have a feeling of invincibility with only a few inches falling which will mean more cars and trucks on the roads. In the first major storm of this winter I drove to Annapolis with over a foot on route 50 and I was all by myself. I had all three lanes and both shoulders around me to make mistakes. I would rather have that situation then bumper to bumper traffic surrounded on all sides with “novice at best” drivers.
